Thanks mate, its becouse of the goggle antenna. I build all antennas myself. This one is a 3turn helical on the goggles and a omni directional on diversity for close range. Plane has a omni on a 400mw vtx

Thanks, i would say yes. It is harder than flying quads and its harder to do saves when you get into a bad situation. But long range is probably still the most adrenalin pumped type of flying, both quads and wings/planes. Becouse the risk of completly loosing your craft.

@@themoggidriver i been out 24km with a plane but thats was with 1.3ghz analog video. The 7 turn death rays will easyly reach the range limit of the dji system which is between 12.3 to 14km. After that the googles will black out even tho the mbit is close to full 50.8.

Yeah pure ground speed is probably the best to do, then you dont have to be 100% level and alt wont have too much effect

Thanks mate! Yeah but you have to use a small diameter prop with steep pitch and insane amounts of watts.. Pulled around 350amps peak while testing on the ground with the same prop as in the video, a 5x7".

@@vektr6278 yes it would start burning before you even reach mid rpm's. I use a leopard lbp3674-2.5d(2650kv) 4-pole 1/8scale truck motor in this plane and a 6s lipo

@@SLINGSHOTandMOLOTOWS well thanks, i dont know what i got going on then that would make mine even more nose heavy. i balanced right on the front of the spar had no glide and need full trim to even fly close to level at mid throttle.

You need 2 to 3mm if elevon reflex, your elevons should have 2 to 3mm of up for level flight. Almost all flying wings need this

inav fc so there is an fc chip in the flightcontroller

Turnigy heavy duty 4000mah 60-120c, best lipo I ever use hands down. Still 40 flights later it has an internal resistance of under 2.5mohm per cell wich is mindblowing

@@SLINGSHOTandMOLOTOWS I have a question... Since you cut down the prop.... Doesn't that affect the pitch? Is the pitch really still 7 after cutting it down?

@@ammo193 yes the pitch stays the same, i could not find a small enough prop with 7 inch pitch so I had to modify a bigger one. The pitch is just the angle of the blades.

@@SLINGSHOTandMOLOTOWS OK buddy... Another question after all these months, you used the leopard 2650kv at 6s. There is a 3270kv of the same size and brand and can work at 5S! I did the math and that said motor will reach higher kv.... So why not do that instead of 6s 2650kv? Thanks 😊
